Following its premiere in the U.S., original the series will start rolling out globally (excluding China) on Disney+ and Disney Junior at a later date.
In the U.S alone, the brand has digitally reached 380,000 Tik Tok subscribers, 78,000 on Instagram and 32,000 on Facebook. The six animated series have been aired in the US on Disney Junior, Netflix, Hulu, Kidoodle TV, Playground, and Hopster.
"Kiya & the Kimoja Heroes" is a show about a team of kids that combine their everyday passions with extraordinary powers and teamwork and will be premiered on Disney Junior and Disney+.
Hundreds of episodes from Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD will be offered on the platform, including "Mickey Mouse Funhouse," "Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends," "Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest," and "DuckTales."
The executive is tasked with overseeing content and directing strategic oversight of development, as well as current and acquired programming for linear and streaming.
